What is CertMaster Perform?

CertMaster Perform brings together narrative instructional content, videos, skills assessments, lab activities in simulated and live environments, and more to offer a comprehensive learning experience to prepare students for their CompTIA certification exam and further their career in IT. Instruction is centered around a learning progression model to help candidates learn concepts and actively build skills related to the course objectives. This learning methodology uses a series of steps to contextualize the material, elaborate on areas where additional instruction is needed, and provide relevance through practice and customized feedback. The course is broken into modules and lessons, and different activities throughout the course take learning to the next level by providing hands-on skills practice and personalized instruction. 

• 140 videos are integrated into the text to provide instruction and illustration at the point where it's the most relevant 

• Lab activities in simulated environments provide hands-on practice for basic and emerging tasks and scenarios

• Live labs in virtual machine environments deliver practical skills training on more advanced tasks and scenarios 

• A new Network Modeler tool is featured in labs where relevant to provide a visual topology allowing you to observe, configure, and design networks

There are two options for adding students to your CertMaster Learn classroom setup.

Classroom Setup with Access Keys

Instructions for New Users 

If you are new to CompTIA CertMaster (formerly LabSim) products, then you will receive an email with your administrator login credentials within 1 business day after purchase. Access keys and instructions to gain access to your campus will be sent in a separate email in that same timeframe. Please add [email protected] to your email address book to ensure you receive your account information. 

 Instructions for Returning Users 

If you already have a CertMaster (formerly LabSim) campus setup, CompTIA will send your access keys within 1 business day after purchase. 

 Accessing your training product 

To access your training product going forward, go to https://platform.comptia.org   

Classroom Setup with Student Upload 

Instructions for New Users 

If you are new to CompTIA CertMaster (formerly LabSim) products, then you will receive an email with your administrator login credentials within 1 business day after purchase. Instructions for Returning Users 

If you already have a CertMaster (formerly LabSim) campus setup, CompTIA will process your request within 1 business day after purchase. You will be able to check the status of your licenses in CertMaster under the School Details tab.
